It started in high school, 1997 or 1998. I saw it in a tv commercial - a 1/144 scale model of Gundam Wing from Bandai. Yeah, well to others back in the day,  it was just considered a toy, which I highly disagree - coz you don't play with it or else you wanna ruin it. It is kind a like a figurine or something you just put in a display cabinet and admire from afar, without touching it for the longest time ever. Still today,  some idiots still consider it under the category of toys, much to my chagrin.

After several days of saving up, I was finally sold a bootleg gundam model kit. But man, it was cool. When I was shown the actual original model, I didn't feel sad for realizing that I have been bamboozled by a sly middle aged greedy bastard who tricked me into believing that I was buying an original Bandai product.

I actually felt excited to know that I can always grab something better from what I currently have in my hands - the very definition of the word upgrade. Well, of course, that is if you have spare cash in your pocket, coz man this hobby is expensive!

Fast forward to 2009, my first real break up with a girl. The love of my life for 8 years left for some snot faced trainee. With all the freedom and instant spare cash in hand, I bought my first 1/100 scale Master Grade model of Gundam Wing - twice the size, twice the articulation, twice the details - it was a bitter sweet moment. From then on, I restarted my passion for Gunpla Collection. That is also when I started blogging my stories...

Fast forward again, to the year 2023. My collection has grown quiet well. Life has become much more stable-ish. Happy being single. And my collection keeps on growing and growing and growing ever so larger than ever before.

When will I stop? I don't know. I don't even think I would. In fact I made this blog page coz I think I need a written history of all the awesomeness I have in my possession.

So there you have it. Quiet an introduction but well, I guess I just have to leave you with this:

It's just the beginning. See you around folks...
